What to Wear:Summer Vacation

I am so excited! As I sit down to write this post, I know that soon, my whole family plus extended family will be flying off for our big 2017 summer vacation. 3 weeks of no work and all play! Do you know one of the most exciting parts?? Many of you moms will totally get this. It is our first vacation without DIAPERS! Okay, Okay…I know there will be many more exciting parts to our 3 day stay in Copenhagen, 10 day Northern European Disney Cruise, and 6 day visit to London with a one day trip to Paris. All 16 of us! It’s is going to be amazing. The boy’s cant wait to see the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben and Mickey Mouse.

The not so fun part? Packing. I decided that this vacation, each boy would have their own suitcase so that mom would not have to stuff 3 weeks of clothes for 2 boys into 1 suitcase. I invested in a few Samsung suitcases that roll really easy to help the boys out. I really did plan on packing a lot less than I ended up packing but the thought of having to do laundry 3x of my awesome vacation made me change my mind. Keep in mind that this is Northern Europe’s rainy season and that Disney Cruises always have a dressy night. I ended up packing 2 pairs of jeans, 1 dress pant, 1 athletic pant,5 pairs of shorts (1 for sleeping),  5 long sleeve shirts (1 dress shirt with tie), 8 short sleeve shirts, 1 rain jacket, 1 jacket, 1 swim suit, 4 pairs of shoes(athletic, dressy, Keens water shoes for rainy days, and flip flops for the pool. The 2 youngest have rain boots as well but gave up trying to find a pair for the twins.), 1 hat and sunglasses, and a whole bunch of undies and socks. This where Gymboree helps with my packing. They been celebrating childhood for over 30 years, dressing kids from newborn to 12 years old. They offer colorful, head-to-toe clothing and accessory collections—quality clothes that let kids be kids. Gymboree sells their clothing lines as a collection. Each collection is similar colors and styles, and most can be mixed and matched within that line! Because there is no room to include 8 shorts for each kid, it helps to have shirts that go with multiple pairs of shorts. Awesome right? (Especially, when their newest line features all of my favorite colors) All the images below will feature Gymboree’s newest line, Monster Waves.

Declan absolutely loves the Surf Wagon Tee! Of course, what little boy doesn’t like cars on his clothes? I love the slip on shoes, and the colors in that plaid button up are all of my favorites!

Cayden, honestly, loves anything that he gets to wear a fedora with and Gymboree ALWAYS has fedoras. He thought the surfing dinosaur was hilarious!

And momma loves that Gymboree’s slip on shoes always fit his wide foot.

The twins…oh the twins. They may be identical in looks but they are definitely differing in personality. They kinda hate when I dress them to match so I try not to…not that they always get their way lol….Xander tends to be more reserved and really like the Tidal Wave Tee with the button up Surf Shirt, while Britton can dress a little more on the wild side with more fun color choices, like in this Hang Ten shirt.
