I had been wanting to try Kidbox, but honestly didn’t need clothes monthly for my little guy. But as a Mom of 4 boys, who works from home and is also homeschooling, I have very little time to shop for my kids clothes. Well, little did I know, Kidbox is not a monthly subscription! They ship seasonally, that’s 5 times a year (spring, summer, back to school, fall, and holiday). Pretty much when my kid is in need of some new clothes. Perfect. I also loved the fact that Kidbox donates an outfit to a child in America, that is in need, for every box I keep!

Last week, I made my first order for my 4 year old son, Declan. I was able to tailor the clothes to him, choosing City Cool as his style. Kidbox asked if I wanted to not include certain colors and styles of clothing as well. After that, I just sat back and waited, and in less than a week received my first box for SUMMER. Declan was super excited to open his box and instantly picked his favorite shirt, the Genius shirt by Junk Food. That didn’t surprise me at all. Also, in the box you will find a style guide with a list of each item with the pricing, a return address label and bag, and some fun stickers and crayons(which Declan grabbed up immediately).
In the Summer Box Kidbox, I found 7 pieces- 3 pairs of shorts and 4 t-shirts. Of those pieces, 3 were Lucky Brand, 1 Junk Food, 1 Diesel, 1 Logan and 1 LRG. All are really good brands that have a higher price tag then say Old Navy or Target, but that is what I expect if I am going to pay $98 for the box, so I was super happy with my deal.
Declan is 4 but wears a size 3t. Overall, I am definitely keeping 6 out of 7 pieces. I have not decided on the Diesel shirt yet, as it seemed a little short for Declan. In the future, I will ask that if they include Diesel in the box to size up. The shirt is 100% cotton so I am afraid after I wash it, it may shrink. But, I still have 6 days to decide if I am keeping it or not! I felt that the Lucky Brand shorts and the Junk Food shirt ran slightly large but I really liked the look on him, both shorts have adjustable waists on them and he can just wear them longer! All in all, I am super impressed with the quality and sizing of the clothes. I think they fit Declan’s personality and was exactly what I needed this summer. Check out his looks for yourself!
So there you have it, my review of Kidbox. Look for more reviews in the future because I plan on keeping my subscription. At only $98 for the box, I feel like a received a lot of quality clothing at a great price. Declan looks “city cool” all summer long as well and so will a child in need.
